SDT develops a wireless Bluetooth application
Jun 1,2005.SDT in conjuction with it's affilliates will release a licensed bluetooth wireless application designed for the Law Enforcement agencies throughout the State of Georgia. Officers will now be able to conduct real time incident reports and traffic citations while out on their watch. The system will be a wireless Bluetooth application where Officers will utilize a bluetooth capable PDA or Notebook. At the end of their watch they will be able to dock with the main system at the Police Station or precinct and upload the daily reports that were created during the shift.
The application is designed to help eliminate the additional man hours necessary to fill out the daily paperwork reports and convert the paper system into a fully digital real time application. This will not only assist the Officer in his daily law enforcement duties but also provide the community with more man hours on patrol and less man hours filing paper work at the end of the shift.
After casually interviewing several Officers one of their main concerns were the hours spent completing the daily reports at the end of their shift.
